Was a gift for my brother the sailor
He was over the moon with this. Although I never saw it,he loved it. The antique looking brass and box display everything, It was very very happy. Made a great Christmas present.

Not as advertised
must be some kind of joke. does not work. horrible craftmanship. Too small even for a decoration.

Good product
The Sextant works as far as I can tell. It is great for display and teaching folks about navigation. Have not had a chance to shoot stars or sun but will.

Received this sextant this morning. Well packaged with lots of bubble wrap in a nice wooden box. Really nice quality brass with antique finish. Very happy with this piece...great quality and value for money. Would buy again in a heartbeat!

The wooden box came damaged with a large chunk of wood missing, and both hinges bent and non-functional. The horizon glass is out of alignment, and this makes the sextant itself merely a conversation piece. Very disappointed!
