MARASTAR 20402 Universal Fit 11x4.00-5 Lawnmower Tire/Wheel Assembly

I have a 42" zero turn mower made by MTD and sold under numerous brands like Craftsmen, Cub Cadet, Toro, and others. As far as I can tell, they all use the same front wheel assembly with a 3/4" diameter shaft and a roughly 4.5" hub. These wheels, with the 1/2" spacer on each side, fit perfectly and with a floor or bottle jack and a 15/16" and 3/4" wrench, it took all of 15 minutes to swap out both sides. Replacing these tires in sets is probably the wise thing to do because once one tire goes, the other is bound to follow soon. I went with these tires because of price and all the negative comments about how hard the non-pnuematic tires are. The original pneumatic tires gave me 5 years of service and these tires look as good as the OEM tires, so I trust I will get 5 years out of them as well. The new tires have no tread which will probably do less damage to the yard. Basically I am very pleased with the quality and price and this is just on more reason I alway check Amazon before buying most anything. Update: I just mowed for the first time with the new slick tires and was amazed at how much more sensitive and precise the steering is compared to the treaded OE tires.

These tires happen to be a perfect replacement product for an early 2000 cub cadet RTZ 50 turn mower. These tires fit perfectly inside the front casters of the RTZ 50 mower, I used a large bushing that came with the tires on either side and the original axles. Together with no problems. Chose these instead of the many options for foam filled, because the mower sits a few weeks in between mowings, and the foam filled tires develop flat spots that the pneumatic tires do not. I may go back and put some more sealant into the tires in case I run over something, but they came as delivered inflated. And were close enough to the recommended tire pressure that I didn’t need to do anything to them.

The axle adapters could be a little better. Overall a great item at a super price. Best thing is NO MORE FLAT TIRES!

The quality of the tires and wheels look to be top notch. Not to mention the tires are mounted on new wheels for less than the replacement tires alone would have cost. As a bonus I don't have to hassle with either mounting new tires or pay to have it done. Down side is that the wheels are not as wide as the wheels that I am replacing. Even with the provided spacers I will need to run out and purchase some additional spacer to center the wheels on the axle. These are for mounting on a 3/4" axle, however in my case the axle bolt itself is only 1/2", but has a bushing on it that increased the diameter to 3/4". I mention this for informational purposes only. If you measure your axle bolt end and see that it is 1/2" you may want to take the wheel off of your mower to check if in fact that your front axle does or does not have a bushing through the wheel hub that would increase the axle size to the larger 3/4".

Worked perfect for my TORO Timecutter 4225 with the washer shims that came with package. Super easy and 2x cheaper then buying tires and paying to take wheels somewhere to be installed. Hassel free.

Tires fit my 42 inch cub cadet. The tires are solid so won't go flat or loose air. I expected the ride to be a rougher ride but was pleasantly surprised that there didn't seem to be any difference in the original tires and these solid ones. The price was great. Got two tires spending less money than buying just one air filled tire.

Both tires and rims were a full inch more narrow than originals. The wheels required a full EIGHT shims to fit the mountings.

i had to replace the tires and tubes on my gokart, and after looking around i just didnt wanna fork up the cash for "racing slick" gokart tires so i got these tires instead because they were the right size and have had 0 issues. been on for for 1 year now, no visible wear and they stick to the track like racing slicks. good price for tires+tubes i didnt use the rims

Great price - dealer wanted over double for just the tire and tube. With the included spacers it fit perfect. Very happy

Fit my snapper zero turn, perfectly…needed to use the spacers provided. Like my old tires, when necessary, I’ll just pop tubes in the tire for extended use.

$105 for the Toro dealer to install tubes in 2 tires that won't hold air (2 years new). Or $77 for this complete set of new tires with tubes mounted on steel wheels, spacers provided, delivered to my door. Great fit and easily installed. Admittedly, the quality is a step down from OEM so we'll see how they hold up under normal residential use.
