Legrand adorne 20Amp 1-Gang Pop-Out Outlet in Gloss White with Matching Wall Plate, ARPTR201GW2WP

I recently purchased this pop out outlet for our bathroom to support a new heated towel bar and this guy works great and looks amazing. We wanted the convenience of an outlet when needed as well as the ability to conceal and hide the outlet when not in use. Installation is was very simple and straightforward. This works and functions as expected and we are pleased with it. If you are into aesthetics and simplistic design, this is for you. So take the splurge and enjoy. Definitely a great addition to our new bathroom.

If you’re installing new and buy with a large gang box it’ll work. I wouldn’t try to smash this thing in as a replacement. I seriously doubt it fits very many outlet boxes already in your home. If buying plan on replacing the box it fits into. If you’re not familiar with electrical it could turn into quite a project. Overall it’s a very cool product. It was perfect for my project but I had to order a special gang box from amazon because the stupid big box stores don’t carry ones large enough. I wanted this in the wall adjacent to a fireplace and made it all James Bond looking. I like the hidden/pop out feature. I give the product 5 stars. The idea of Swapping out an old outlet and just hooking this up in 15 min’s is pretty much bs.

I’m a fan of these Legrand components…BUT NOTE: If you plan to incorporate this outlet with multi gang switches, it won’t fit out of the box with these switches in a multi gang installation. The problem is with the metal mounting plate with the multi gang switch plate. You can make it work, but you’ll have to modify the metal mounting plate. Outlet works well. A good way to add three outlets in a space for one.

Love this brand. Perfect for an island. I just put these in my new house. They were in my entire last home.

Works well for child proofing and area or just to give off a clean and neat appearance

This functions well. It’s a great addition to the side of our island for an easy access outlet that doesn’t scream “HERE’S AN OUTLET”. My only qualm is the projection of the “flange”/cover? It protrudes a good 1/8” from the surface fully installed. It’s not rounded it’s square and inverted so it represents a bit of a hazard for catching a piece of clothing but otherwise it works well and as advertised. I think it required an extra deep box, so in that respect, it probably could be flush or with less projection. I would buy again but I would like to see some minor tweaks to the design.

this item definitely needs a face plate per electrician- i wanted a seemless look on the counter and bought the plateless version assuming that i can instal without a plate-

Slick idea and great execution. Used it on the end of a kitchen island where a regular outlet would be a bit unsightly, but we occasionally need to plug in a blender or mixer.

It was the perfect match for my new waterfall edge countertop. I needed an outlet on the side but wanted something attractive and functional. This was easy to install and looks great.
