Great quality tap and cuts every bit as good as my Union Butterfield or Hanson Whitney taps. Very good value for the money and will definitely order more when the need arises.

Arrived today, in a nice plastic container of its own that can be placed in it in a tool drawer without worry of damaging the cutting edges. Tool is very well made, sharp edges, all uniformly cut and ground. Pleased with the purchase. It is a rare nowadays Made In USA tool.

This worked great for repairing transmission pan bolt hole threads. I was planning to drill and tap new holes for helicoil inserts, but decided to try simply reshaping the threads first. I ran this tap through a few times with oil and the damaged threads were fixed!
