Does this coil support fast charge or quick charge?

According to Watts Law that would be a 5w output, which is NOT a quick charge rate. Quick charge is generally accepted to be greater than 7.5w, usually at least 10w.

if i were to remove the main charging board would i be able to use it by soldering the wires onto a standard usb lead?

Where would I solder the 12v power to on the board?

There is already a micro USB port to supply power to the board. You could solder a new connection to those lines if you wanted to. Though I wouldn't reccomend it. Just use the supplied connection.
