Quality and customer service.
I have been contacted by the seller and issued a partial refund that will cover the cost of a rainfly that I hope will fix the problem! Excellent customer service. Very pleased! This tent does not fit a 2025 Subaru Crosstrek. The boot cover is too short and falls into the crack of the door. This allows dew and rain to run into the vehicle (we live in Indiana where the dew is very heavy as is the rain). I asked the amazon AI prior to purchase and I was told this tent would fit my car.The tent material is good quality. The actual tent part is very spacious. My full size cot fit great. I am 5’10” and can stand no problem. The tent was easy for my wife and I to set up and take down.

Great tent!
The media could not be loaded. I bought this tent this summer and have used it twice. I’m a pretty happy camper! It can be hooked to your SUV or it can be a free-standing tent. If you want to go on an excursion, you can unhook and drive away.Pros: This tent is like having two tents in one because your SUV bed/cargo area can act as a second bedroom. Or you can sleep in the tent and use the cargo area as your kitchen/prep area and place to store food, cooler and clothes. It was 95+ degrees when I went camping so I slept in the tent to get the cross-breeze from the lake. The windows are huge! Thankfully the temps were in the 70s at night. My single-bed air mattress fit perfectly and I had plenty of living space. A double-bed air mattress would definitely fit too. When I camp in the fall when it’s cooler, I might sleep in the cargo area because my car is higher off the ground and warmer. And if a bad storm popped up or an animal like a bear visited, I could close the tailgate and be safe.Pros & Cons: This tent has been designed to fit different-sized SUVs. I have a mid-sized SUV. Your tailgate door is what holds up the 4th side of your tent. That side has an elastic edge so it can fit different SUVs. But there needs to be a way to pull it in tighter so it’s snug. If it’s not, there will be gaps. Water can’t really get into your tent, but insects can get into your car. I got a family of ants. The way that you attach the straps to the tires is important. Make sure you adjust them so the elastic edge lays flat and tight against the sides of your car. (I now carry bug spray to spray all around my car.)The rainfly and top of the elastic edge slid down my roof a little after it rained and water pooled there on the outside. Water did not get into the tent but that side was wet when I folded it up. If the rainfly was extended a foot and a long yellow tie line added, it would solve this slipping issue. A tie line should really be added to the elastic edge of the tent too. Those center lines would keep the tent and rainfly tight and extended over the roof. They could be tied to a roof rack or staked down in front of the car. It rained hard and no water got into the tent, but it would shed water better if they could be tighter. The rainfly worked great over the main tent. It is designed to line up with the window awnings and the points of the fly are held in place by Velcro. It rained 3 nights in a row and it kept the tent completely dry.Something to keep in mind when choosing a campsite. This type of tent is a new concept, but campgrounds are set up for either tents or RVs. If you want the tent attached to your SUV, you need to be able to park on the driveway but set your tent up on the ground/gravel area so you can stake it in the ground. When I camped, the gravel area was on the side of the driveway. The driveway was too wide so I could only stake the tent down on one side. Plus, the asphalt made the tent really hot. Next time, I will try to choose a site where the gravel area is directly behind or at the end of the driveway.A few picky things- I love the color of this tent, but it would make it so much easier to figure out where the bottom is if the tent was one color and the bottom of the tent was another. Having two colors would make it easier to set up.I’m very short- 4’11. So, I had to have two friends help me set it up and take it down. I think I can do it by myself next time, but keep in mind that it’s a large, tall tent. Getting the long poles in (and out) by yourself can be challenging. Especially in wind or on a 95 degree day.The only other thing is I wish this tent came with a loop or strap in the center of the tent roof so you could hang a lantern.Lastly, the mesh pockets inside the tent are handy! Just don't leave your phone in one when you fold the tent up. Speaking from experience. :)

Hard but not impossible single setup
Have not used in anger yet, wanted to chime in on setup. It is not impossible to single hand, but it is also not easy. The B pole is very tight and requires bend. You need to anchor one end to get enough bend to set the second end with two people it is pretty easy. That being said it is definitely a tent you want to try once at home in the daylight before doing it onsite somewhere.Notes. It has a wall and screen to the SUV so it is possible to unhook and drive away if you have a day trip. Or close the suv hatch to get more privacy. It can be set up on pavement, replacing stakes with weights. Rain fly is not structural. Seems good for intended use although 1 cm less on the B pole would be nice. It looks hard to diy that because of an end cap although maybe a dremmel cutoff wheel....

Surpasses all SUV tents by FAR, freestanding, 3 door, 2 awning, huge windows, fully zips dust out
Leading edge tent. Surpasses all SUV tents capabilities by FAR, freestanding so I can drive away and tent remains standing YES! Huge windows on all sides with huge mesh openings for fantastic views. 2 awnings at doors, came in handy for 2 rainstorms depending on which way the wind was blowing determinedwhich door to use to avoid blustery rain, because tent remained clean and dry since we used the best door for rain angle. Fully enclosed zipped lining over ALL mesh to keep dust out in the summer desert is IMPERATIVE functionality that is skipped with competitors yet is very important, and also means that this can be used in cooler temperatures, definitely a 3 season tent and probably a 4 season tent. Waterproofing was fine through 2 rainstorms on first camping trip, 4-6" bathtub was, as expected, more durable than rest of material and stayed waterproof. The entire tent remained waterproof, and I can update this after a year.NONE of the other SUV tents have as many doors as this, 1 SUV door and 2 side doors. The best competition only has 1 extra door, and if the rain is blowing towards that one door, even if it has an awning, the tent floor will get wetter and messier when entering the tent.6 tall people can stand up inside this fantastic tent, WOW!EASY set up for 1 person, but I'm experienced. Wish it had more clips instead of fabric sleeves, perhaps in newer iterations?Elastic fit well enough around vehicle but didn't trust near hot muffler and I drove away everyday, so I only attached elastic awning to vehicle twice. It was a fantastic SUV attachment because it also had a screen to the vehicle so I could 100% know bugs weren't getting in tent portion, and it probably kept 99% of the bugs out of the vehicle. This first trip was not with an SUV but with a Prius Prime, and it kept the rain out of the car fairly well for easy access to the car in the rain, but I detached them and fully zipped up the tent to sleep through the rainstorm overnight inside the tent to be safe. So my Toyota Sienna will fit even better, and I'll update this review after I camp with it and the Sienna. The wind didn't flap the elastic unnatached to the vehicle too badly because I was able to stake it down, and the material isn't too loud when rustling in the wind. The elastic pooled some water but I shook it off and it dried quickly.Huge windows on all sides capture breeze from any direction, well done Joy Tutus!!!!!!Improvements:1) Bag is pretty roomy, but still doesn't zip shut when repacked bone dry, could be made bigger. Perhaps the material expanded in the 1st 2 rainstorms on 1st trip?2) Orange tie downs were excellent but fade to yellow on 1st week-long camping trip with 2 rainstorms. They were still orange at top of string, which was also exposed to rainwater, but perhaps more quick drying at top? Functionality the tie downs are modern quick and versatile so I don't care about the fading, but it's strange in parachute cord.3) Add zip on attachment vestibule with floors to create a condo of linked tents where we can keep our feet clean when visiting linked friends in a rainstorm wearing socks, who also have this exact same tent. Also add an open sided covered awning between the 2 for cooking. This would be a game changer! Please stay a leader of the pack Joy Tutus by improving this tent!!! Many thanks to you for being a leader in providing an Optimal fun useful tent!!!
