Q: Description says "masterlock brand 30mm padlock, keyed-alike". does this mean if i order two, both padlocks can use the same key?

I have two sets of locks with two keys per set. All four keys open both locks.

Q: Does the adhesive come off? I live in a rental!

It will but I'm not sure as to what difficulty. I was told that 3M's "general purpose adhesive remover" makes removal easy and without damage to the mating surface but I haven't tried it. The adhesive pads are thin which puts the lock pads close to the mating surface so trying to pry the locks off without damage to the mating surface could prove to be difficult. Applying 3M's product is supposed to make the pads loose enough to pull off after about 10 minutes. Good luck.

Not in my experience....if you went to prying on the sealing surface with a screwdriver, you could work it off but not by pulling on the refrigerator door. You would knock everything off the door shelves and may even cause some damage to the door trying to yank it open. If the pad mating surface of the refrigerator is cleaned thoroughly before the pads are attached, they will attached with a very strong bond. The adhesive used on these pads is not like double sided tape, the material is much thinner and much stronger. Again, for this lock to work properly the mating surfaces MUST be clean. Hope this helps.

Q: Will the glue last if the fridge is stored outside on covered porch?

It should, i have mine in my garage and we leave the door open to the garage and plus theres the dryer so it can get humid in there sometimes and the glue still sticks

High Quality and Substantial Locking Solution

I was little leary about spending almost $30 for a two pack of what looked like a minimalist locking solution for my freezer. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and weight of these locks. I like that they can't be easily opened or picked like some of the other refrigerator/freezer locks I reviewed. I am pleased with my purchase and highly recommend this product. I bought this to keep my teen from raiding my freezer. So far, so good.

Lock for freezer but it can also be used for other things

I have not try pulling it off so I can't say it's perfect but so far I haven't got any problems with it. No one hasn't try pulling it, breaking it or anything with it I'll give it 5 stars for now let's see how long it last I hope it last very longI'm using it for my freezer if you are wondering

Best locks over all others

Works perfectly better than the locks with the little keys those locks can be opened with a knife so I would highly recommend these over any other ones.

Very effective solution to locking down the circuit breaker box

Manufacturer: Listen Up! I bought this to put on my circuit breaker box to keep my MIL with chronic dementia, out of the box. We have to turn off and lock off the gas to the stove, and now we lock her out of the panel box and turn off certain circuits and the oven. IT WORKS PERFECTLY and is a much more effective solution than the other things sold to do the same.
