I've owned the very first version of this tool. Everything just works! and works REALLY well. It's so well thought out with the right power and ergonomics you can't help but be assured they have really field tested this over the years and improved on a a great platform and foundation. This is also the type of tool you'll own for a long time because they have come up with SO MANY USES for it. So, if you can, save your money up, it will cost around 22% more but you'll get a lifetime of use, more options, and be able to sell your previous model without a question if you move up to a newer model someday. You also get through to REAL people if you call them for advice of any kind. Dare I say this is one "Fein" company! Most highly recommended.

This is a great tool to own, much better quality than the box store brands they don’t allow you to put a blade on straight.

Oscillating tools are like electric guitars - everyone should have one, and they make the world a better place. I bought one made by Fein on the recommendation of a contractor who was rebuilding my deck.It has the feel of a quality tool. It’s solid, a bit heavy but not too heavy, the speed dial works smoothly, and the soft start is both helpful and very cool. For a change, it has a long cord. I have used it once so far to replace some trim above my garage that was being colonized by some hungry termites. It melted through the tasty Doug fir leaving clean straight edges that were easy to mate with the new boards.Using it for the first time was a revelation, opening up worlds of possible DIY’s that I was dreading to tackle with a keyhole handsaw or one of those wood butcher single-ended hacksaw blade handles. ‘Scuse me now. I have a medicine cabinet to install!

I started using a Fein multipurpose 25 years ago in my remodeling business. I purchased this one for a front porch project to strip paint off of the wood posts and trellis. The scraper accessories and numerous sanding accessories are phenominal when it takes literally 2 or 3 seconds to go from one grip to another or even to a completely different function.I have used other people's tools when helping along on projects, but also bring this bad boy along to let them try it, and they are very impressed.Fein does i

This is the second fien tool I've bought there a well made tool. But on high side dollar wise. This one has the new star lock and release system it works nice but having hard time finding blades for it and if I do there crazy expensive

If you are more than a DIY'r, buy the 700, not the 300. It's built for more rigorous use.BTW this is the 3rd Fein MultiMaster I've bought. The 2nd one got stolen.Get the Good blades and LET THE TOOL CUT, DON'T FORCE IT. Learned that the hard way.

I have been a professional contractor for over 4 decades. Fein came out with these years ago (long before their competitors did). I have purchased 2 of these units. The first one I used (hard...every single day) for 10 years before it finally gave out. I've been using the second one and it is just a durable as the last. By far the best, in my opinion. They make other tools as well. They match this durable quality!!! Worth the price!!! If you're a pro, buy this one. It will never leave you stranded. As a plus, it comes with a cord that is actually long enough to use for most jobs! Just all-around quality!!Big Rudy.
