After killing one by powering it backwards, I found the rest of em all to be working well at around 3.3v. They stopped working below 2.8 volts.10k and 100k pullup resistors worked. I didn't see a reason for a filter capacitor but my supplies are generally clean enough.Field direction matters! If it isn't triggering with the magnet on one side, try the other.And the thin, magnetic sheet used on a lot of fridge magnets was not strong enough to trip these switches, either at 3.3v or 5v. Stronger magnets worked just fine.Packaging was: in a small zip lock plastic bag, wrapped in foam, wrapped in yellowing cellophane tape. I was kind of worried about static but they seemed to be okay otherwise.

i have only played with two so far but they worked very well. I installed a ceramic magnet in my front door and this sensor is about 0,5 inches away and it triggers everytime. I get very upset reading reviews from people whom does not do their homework and ask questions first before making any purchases.

I havnt tried em yet...but they are tiny. there was no "mm" size so again i ASSUMED they were big enough to handle with my fingers. i need tweezers for these. we'll see.....
