First time user. The instructions were a bit complicated only because I didn’t remember the name of the Keurig. We will see what happens tomorrow when I brew my first cup after the cleaning.

Easy to use works well

I used vinegar the first time. It didn’t seem like it took any more time than this. True, that wasn’t a descale.Why did it take about as much time? Because the instructions are that you have to clean first (with one of the pods) and then descale (with the solution/use the correct ratio) and make sure you follow the rest of the instructions! Exactly!!!I probably spent 30 minutes looking for a video to help me use this. It was that complicated, The print instructions are so dang small. The directions are less than comprehensive.I finally found a video on YouTube that was exactly like my Keurig and it was relatable and didn’t leave out anything. I believe that the makers of Keurig made the Instruction video. I did watch a few individuals also. Why? Each one taught me something new.Point: You have options. Some of the cleaning solutions are simply vinegar. So why not use vinegar! For descaling, mentioned a lot was the Amazon product and a Walmart product. A difference that was mentioned is that the Walmart product is less expensive and less concentrated.I found the directions on this box versus the directions for the exact product on YouTube to be quite different. What’s up with that ‽

Great, what I needed!

The descaling solution leaked although only a little so it relatively speaking is not a problem. The problem is the instructions provided state to add the bottle (100ml) to reservoir and 17 ounces or 2 cups of water. Well since 2 cups is 16 ounces; which is it? I added 2 cups. The total amount of solution was only enough to fill up the container about 1/3 full. As a chemist, I figured well they must just make a more concentrated solution. I brewed one 6 ounces cup and the machine was already at the point of “add water “. It was then did I realize at the very most the maker of the product has no clue about what they do. To validate my thought, I read in the questions section a response the seller posted as an answer for how much descaling solution to use. Part of the answer is that different machines use different amounts so they make it so all can fill up the reservoirs (say what!!)? The seller advised to fill up the reservoir. Then why did the instructions say 100ml of lactic acid plus 16 or 17 ounces of water??!! At any point, they instructed consumers to use concentrations of acid double strength of intended (or half of intended). Folks, I don’t have to point out that considering how this is going into a coffee machine could harm someone. I’m mad because I either potentially damaged my kureig or wasted time and money using diluted concentrations. My machine is still soaking so I don’t know what awaits me. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. DONT SUPPORT SOMEONE WHO COULD CAUSE DAMAGE TO PEOPLE OR THEIR COFFEE MAKERS
