I also wanted a Hub that was more powerful than my older 3.0 hub. This hub is a 3.2, AC powered and runs everything that I have plugged into it. It is very compact so it takes up very little space on my computer desk. I especially like that each port of the hub can be turned on or off as needed. The seven ports are all standard USB with no "C" port; however an adapter is included in the package. I would buy this again. Review: Good for my needs - The device appears to work well. I would have liked to mount it on the wall but it has no mounting hardware. This is not uncommon so it isn't that it's bad in any way. Many don't have a way to mount it. Some double sided tape will work but I would have liked some lugs with screw holes on the ends to accommodate the mount. The connecting wire (usb-a to usb-b) would be nice if it was just a bit longer but it just reaches the connection on the back of my computer so it will work as well, just a little tight. Overall it did increase my speed of transfer from the previous one I had which was quite a bit older so that is a good thing. The power supply is fine but could have used the wire-block-wire method instead of the plug in block. I had to shift around some items on my power management block to find a place to plug it in without blocking other outlets but I got it worked out. It is in a metal case so it should be very durable and hold up under pressure.
