Only issue is (like another reviewer mentioned) on 2 sets so far the coating frayed @ the D-string near picking hand, but I wiped the strings and the coating is intact Everywhere else after weeks of use. Still holding tone, clean and smooth everywhere else and now I can't notice the missing coating. These also stay in tune better than any strings I've ever tried after a 1 min stretch. Ive used this brand and this is the first time Ive noticed coating peeling off...

Sounds great, not the dull sounds of Elixir strings twenty years ago. Good tension in locking tremolo setup. Fast playing strings, but not as slick as the thicker coating options. update: After two years this same set is still in great shape with twice a year cleaning.
