Depends on how bad of shape the floor is in. It has some suggestions in the instructions on surface prep. **Q: is this peoduct easy to use** A: I'm with the other commenter... I used it following the instructions... Didn't peel up, but looked horrible after 4 years... Had to diamond grind the coating up and replaced it... This kit does not offer a clear epoxy coating which is one on the reasons it looks bad early on especially where the flakes were...these kits only offer a 3 mil thickness I recommend epoxy-coat better kit, best, or super kit is 40+ mil thickness.... **Q: I painted a floor with blue dtm epoxy mastic and 5 days later it is still wet...is there a way for me to make it cure? the weather here has 60's.** A: Should have dry by now. Give it a few more days.
