It's portable, but like the fact that it has etymologies​ after the words which, as an English teacher, are very useful. Also, there are entries for historical people, musicians, artists, and it's much easier for a quick look instead of having to turn on the computer to get information quickly. This dictionary is well-worth having on one's shelf.

I live in Ireland but I am fond of this dictionary and when I moved to Europe I brought this dictionary with me. It's portable, but like the fact that it has etymologies​ after the words which, as an English teacher, are very useful. Also, there are entries for historical people, musicians, artists, and it's much easier for a quick look instead of having to turn on the computer to get information quickly.
