I have the boss 5k watt amp if I hook all of them up to it will I blow the speakers

No, probably not. Boss is NOT a good brand. I had a Boss PH4000 (which Boss claims can put out 4k watts) that I was using to power a little 8 inch sub in a sealed box that was part of a DIY home audio setup I had. First off, I couldn't get more than 75 watts out of the thing (resistance was 3 ohms, input voltage was 14.4v). Second, it only lasted about a month before something inside of it caught on fire and filled my bedroom with awful smelling smoke, and I was only using it for a couple hours a day. In short, don't buy anything from Boss or any brands owned by Boss, such as Planet Audio.

Now, with that out of the way, let's talk about how to set the gain on an amplifier so that you don't blow your speakers. There is a common misconception that you shouldn't power a subwoofer/speaker with an amplifier that can put out more power than the speaker can handle. This is not true, as long as you set the gain properly.

It's pretty easy to do. Start with the gain knob turned all the way to the left, set the music volume on your car's head unit to maximum, and play a low bass tone. 35 hz works pretty well in my experience. (If you're playing this off your phone, make sure you set the volume on the phone to max).

Then, slowly increase the gain until you hear distortion. Decrease the gain until the distortion goes away. Congratulations, you're done.

If you want your system to actually sound good, start playing music at maximum volume. Lower the gain on the amplifier until the music sounds good.

If I was you I would pick up the scar RP 4500.1 it’s going to give you 4500 W RMS it’s a little over the max for two other subs but they will handle it just fine sorry it was supposed to say for two of those subs it will handle them just fine
