Wahl Pink Arco Clipper Kit

I bought this for my longish-haired cat who gets occasional matts despite regular grooming. My cat's fur is extremely soft and fluffy and the kind that matts pretty much instantly if he gets wet or, as happened recently, he goes out in the snow. The trimmer is very lightweight and easy to hold. The colour means it's easily visible against most cat colours making it easier to see what you are doing. It was small enough to gently and effectively trim matts from under my cat's arm and not so big that you would end up cutting too much. It's very controllable and I would say that the small size is a huge advantage for a cat or small dog. It comes with four trimmer attachments in different sizes so you can trim to different lengths or use it without to get a closer trim. I only had to charge it once as the charges lasted easily for what I needed to do. The motor is fairly quiet and my cat didn't seem to mind the noise. I showed it to him and switched it on a few times to get him used to it before I actually trimmed him with it. The seller was extremely helpful and demonstrated excellent communication, contacting me to check that it was the one I wanted as, apparently, the title of the description isn't accurate. This is the MINI trimmer and the cutting part is about 4cm wide. So it's the one in the image and description. So impressed with this seller who communicated politely and effectively, responded quickly to messages and dispatched the item really quickly.

I've only used these clippers once, but my are they good! First I bought some for around £20-25 and after the first groom they stopped working. Even after a thorough clean and oiling session it still didn't work. And the one time I could use them they kept getting stuck in the coat of my Cavachon. She was not matted, I brush her every day and I'd bathed and dried her first. These clippers are fantastic! They went through her coat like a hot knife through butter and she looks amazing. It's much quieter too. I also bought the steel combs that Wahl makes for these clippers and together they do an amazing job. The 5-1 blade that comes with the clippers is very good too, and it doesn't heat up very fast either. The battery life is excellent too, and considering that it comes with 2 batteries you won't run out of juice with this cordless clipper. Just one little niggle: it comes in a nice plastic case - without a foam insert! Everything rattles round loose in the box! I really had not expected that from a relatively pricy pair of clippers! Wahl, do something about that! Apart from that, I'd definitely recommend these clippers for most small to medium sized dogs. With a larger dog the blade might become too warm.

Blades keep going blunt!

Brilliant, Quiet and minimal vibration so didn't send dog running for the hills. Eaay to handle, great on my shih tzu's coat that got out of hand during covid. Even though I will have minimal use (i'm not a natural dog groomer) I am still really pleased I purchased and def worth the money. It lasts really well after a full charge, I was able to tentatively go over all my shih tzu's coat without recharging. The blade didn't get hot either. Came with three attachments brush and oil. Neat box and charger lead / plug. I would definately recommend. If you are good at cutting dog hair then this would be a great money saver for you. I feel it is still with all the money even though I will prob only use it for any mattes that might occurs in the future. #stickingtothegroomers. Personal choice not as a result of product.

Poor product that, hasn't lasted as expected. The area that holds the blade in place has snapped away during use and although in warranty the seller is refusing to assist in any way. Would not recommend this item.

Love this, I have hairy footed hounds that need regular trimming and my old cheap beard trimmer was just not up to the job anymore, but this clipper is amazing, it's lightweight, easy to hold, quiet and cut through the hair so easily my dogs hardly realised what I was doing, wish I had brought it sooner.

Yet to use but disappointed that the case is useless as it does not store your clipper properly nor does it have provisions to hold the accessories and prevent it from damage as it lets them just bounce around. luckily i have some soft foam that i can shape.

Great mini clippers for grooming dogs face and feet. I have numerous dogs that require regular clipping and the mini arco is a fantastic addition to my grooming equipment

I have a Siberian with really, really long thick fur. She gets horrible knots in her fur, and until I got this shaver, I had to take her to the vet to get them shaved off. We hadn't done this is a while, and she was in a bad state. I got this shaver out, and she is knot-free! I'm very careful to clean and oil the blades after each use. We usually go after one or two major knots at a time. The shaver couldn't go through them like butter, but it did a good, steady job of slowly cutting into the knots until I could make a final pass and shave them away. The cat was happy enough to let me make several passes on the knots, as long as my husband held a licking treat for her to consume the whole time. Be careful to shave with the direction of the fur, not against it.
