## Description

The most versatile and sleek storage stand available, Holds one bike either vertically or horizontally, Fits all wheels from 20" to 700c. Black

Review: Hands down the best practical bike stand I've seen anywhere - Hands down the best practical bike stand I've seen anywhere, especially on desertcart. Let me preface this by saying I'm a pretty anal person when it comes to durability, quality, design, aesthetics, simplicity, practicality, etc. When I first saw this stand in a picture while googling around for possible solutions for bike storage in an apartment, I instantly knew it was one I was interested in. Imagine my delight when I was able to finally track down this relatively hidden gem and find that the only negative reviews are from folks who either built it wrong or had an issue with the poorly written assembly instructions. I laid the money down and have 0 regrets. Let me lay it out for you: - Durability: absolutely great. Smart hardware choice make it very sturdy and they even provide the hex wrenches needed. - Aesthetics: nice, mostly because it's *minimal* - it can't be as sexy as a wall shelf or something artistic like that, but it tries its best and does a good job. - Portability: moving soon? No problem. No holes allowed? No problem. Need to relocate where you're putting it? No problem. Couldn't be better. - Reliability: again, absolutely genius design. The bottom braces are adjustable so that it holds your rear wheel just right while gravity pulls the front of the bike down to have the front rim rest in the hook up top. - Space savings: again, good choice to go vertical - saves a lot of space. Cons? - Price, although if you're going to have a bike for a long time without a more permanent storage structure, this is well worth it. - Assembly instructions can be considered unclear but anyone with a working knowledge of bolts, washers, and gravity should be able to handle it. This product is heavily designed with intent so if something feels wrong, it probably is. That's about it - the only other solution I'd consider now once I have a more permanent setup is ceiling hooks or wall hooks. Even then, a row of vertical bikes sitting on these would be pretty cool if it weren't for the price.
Review: Very good quality and so close to 5-stars but... - I so want to give this product 5-stars, but I can not bring myself to do this because...more on that later. A little background, apartment dweller so space is a premium and try to get out on my bike during the weekends. One thing I was not expecting was how difficult it would be to find a single, free standing and vertical bicycle stand. I saw a couple elsewhere, but the sites were not in the US or did not list a price. Since I am in an apartment I did not want a wall mount. Price for me is very reasonable when factoring in this price is what I was paying per month for a detached garage which I only used for a small amount of storage and my bike. After a major pre-spring cleaning I was able to move all the storage items from the garage into a spare closet. My bicycle I had initially place on my balcony, but given it is the size of postage stamp I didn't have much room for my planters and furniture. However, I have a fairly large laundry/utility room which fit the bike somewhat perfectly. I would have to kind of put it in at an angle. However, I had to prop the bicycle up against the wall and was concerned with marking the walls with the tires and handlebars. So after a long hunt online I came across this product and ordered it on Wednesday and it arrived today (Friday). When I picked up the box at the front office I could tell by the weight it was solid. For whatever reason desertcart choose to put the original product carton in a box nearly twice the size. I opened the product box and took out all the parts. Everything is pretty much metal except for the red parts. The bulk of the assembly is already done and putting it together should be fairly quick and easy...SHOULD... Here is why I am giving it four stars instead of five...the assembly instructions are horrible. Translated from Japanese with Japanese subtitles. The illustrations are more helpful than the written instructions. Furthermore, there are three little bags of bolts, washers and nuts...these are referred to in the directions has bag A, bag B, and bag C. The bags are not labeled so you need to figure out which is which by the contents. Assembly was easy once I stared at the illustrations long enough to figure out what attached to what. With the product fully assembled came the moment of truth. First attempt was okay, but had trouble with the hook for the front wheel. Again, looking at the illustration long enough and trying to make sense of the directions, I was able to get it correct. Also needed to adjust the wheel holder for the rear slightly. This is normal as it can accommodate 20" up to 26" tires. Bicycle fits well, though I wasn't expecting this to be so deep. Between the angle the bike sits and the height of the handlebars, it does stick out a bit. If you have a classic "10-speed" with low handle bars this won't be an issue, but for those of us with mountain bikes. Not that big of a deal as I don't go into that room all that often. Bottom line, I would recommend this product. However, if you are dependent on written instructions to help you assemble this product, you are going to have some issues.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hands down the best practical bike stand I've seen anywhere

### ⭐⭐⭐ Easy to assemble, but not space saving
*by S***H on February 21, 2019*

I was hoping for this stand to be the answer to my apartment-dwelling prayers: that it would allow me store my bike inside my apartment while saving valuable floor space. Well, while it technically does save *floor* space, it doesn't really save much in terms of footprint of usable space. I'd say the final length of the bike while mounted on this is only about half to 2/3 a tire length shorter than when it's standing on both tires with the kickstand. Major bummer. On the plus side, assembly for this was a total breeze. Had it up and adjusted in less than 15 minutes. Only 11 screws to put in place, and fitting together the parts is very clear from the pictures. In terms of stability, this is pretty average. Not totally flimsy but definitely sways a little when the bike's on it. And yes, I had it adjusted so it held the bike's rear wheel in all three spots, and the front tire in place with the hook. Personally, the utility of this is a bit lost on me. Unless someone is anti kick-stand, I'm not sure what the value-added is. If anything, putting the bike on it and taking it off just adds one totally superfluous step to my daily commute.
