You should also note that the top rails actually have a hinge at the midpoint. I have not broken a hinge-yet. Does make for easy shipping. **Q: my drawers are 12" wide will this fit?** A: I don't think so, I think these are too wide. Make sure when you are putting these together that the word "up" is actually in a readable position. Got 4 of the 6 ordered put together and started putting files on them and they collapsed. Once I reread the instructions and corrected the problem they work great! Make sure you measure the file drawer so you order the right size.
