Casual look, serious weather protection. The Charly Waterproof Rain Jacket pairs a modern silhouette with seam‑sealed, breathable coverage for everyday storms. Review: Essential gear when it’s raining cats and dogs! - I’m so happy with this jacket! For reference, I’m 5’7”, 162lbs, 36C, usually wear Medium (8) on top, Large (12) on the bottom. The fit on this is fabulous - snug around the hips and bum but not tight, the waist is a little nipped in and there’s room for a couple of tops and/or a sweater underneath. I was planning to buy a $300 Patagonia jacket because I wanted something actually waterproof (not just water resistant) that didn’t look like I was wearing a shiny plastic bag and that would last. I’m from the UK originally so we know how important it is to have solid wet weather gear over there! I searched on desertcart to see if the Patagonia jacket was there (it wasn’t) and came across this Eddie Bauer jacket instead. It doesn’t come with a lifetime warranty like a Patagonia, but I can see this quality, well-constructed jacket lasting a lot of years. The fit is really flattering - another concern since I hadn’t tried this jacket on before buying. The ability to nip in the waist with a drawstring is very nice, not cheap-looking at all. The fabric is supple with a matte finish. The jacket is pretty light overall, which should make it ideal for traveling with. I see what people are saying about the sleeves being slightly too short but I’m glad I didn’t let that prevent me from buying this because the length is perfectly fine - no exposed wrists unless I walk around with my arms in air, which would slightly defeat the purpose of having a waterproof jacket in the first place! Review: Quality attractive coat and waterproof. Well cut for a woman figure - Clothes are difficult to select online. Pleased to find out that the coat is better than in the ad. Well designed for a woman figure. Well cut and attractive. Pockets have both top and side opening. Truly waterproof. Light Grey is true to picture which is also unusual. Do look at dimensions against your own. Don't rely on recommendations for sizing. They are off most of the time. A quality coat, it stands out as most clothing is low quality these days.

amazing quality, good for petites, runs small in the hip
This jacket feels like a $300+ jacket. Seriously. It has all those details like taped seams, higher quality materials, lined pockets, etc. It's heavier than I expected. It also just LOOKS more expensive. It has really good rain protection - I know that's not the main thing it's advertised for, but that's the number one reason you should consider it. I am typically a size S in outerwear, but am petite in that my torso and arms are a little shorter, and my shoulders are a little narrower. This jacket wasn't available in Petite, but the arms were much closer to the right length for me than a typical Small is. So if you're tall, this may not work for you. Unfortunately the shoulders were still too wide, and the overall length hit a little lower than it should (like the pockets felt too low, etc), and it felt a little narrow in the hips to me. Hope that helps!

Waterproof & Trendy
LOVE this jacket, which is actually waterproof & as well as stylish. If you usually wear petite sizing, definitely get the petite; the regular is huge for a petite frame! The hood has a bill--a feature I prefer on rain jackets so water doesn't fall straight onto my face. The drawstring waist provides a feminine shape. The fabric is a breathable mid-weight. And the dark green color is neutral enough to pair with all the other colors, while also not feeling too dark to wear when it's sunny yet cool. I love everything about this jacket! From the pockets, to lining/lining contast color. The ability to adjust the cuff width. Versatility--a great casual city piece & also something you can wear camping or on the trails. It's a fantastic travel jacket as well. And I scored getting it half off on flash sale. This is definitely a quality piece that will last for years!

Perfect & rainPROOF!!!
Very nice raincoat. Wore it on a fishing trip to Canada and had one day of moderately heavy rain that was compounded by high winds and being out in open water in a motorized boat and I stayed absolutely dry! The coat was light enough that it breathed well and didn’t make me sweat and the fit was perfect: just roomy enough that it didn’t bind up anywhere, great freedom of movement when casting, and long enough that my butt stayed dry as well. Sleeves are often too short for me, but these were perfect: came to my knuckles. For reference, I’m 5’2” 130 lbs., 36C, 29” waist. Outstanding quality, good price: worth every penny. Highly recommend!

Very nice versatile mid weight rain jacket
Fits really good. I’m 5’4” and 130 lbs. and I bought the medium so I could wear a sweater underneath. I’m very proportional and the rain jacket hits in all the right places. It has nice pockets with good details including a concealed pocket inside. The waist is adjustable as well. I have not worn it in the rain yet so I can’t comment on that, but the weight of the jacket is mid weight so I’m sure it will be warm and versatile if wearing layers underneath. The color is a very nice aubergine. Overall I’m very pleased with the value and style for the money. I got it on a flash sale however. I noticed the price is much higher now.

Loved it.
I just wanted to buy decent rain jacket for an unplanned to Pacific Northwest trip, so got it from Amazon. I am 143 lbs, 5.4 inch, medium size was perfect for me. Slightly loose but not ill fitting. The color was just as pictured. The jacket is nicely made-doesn’t look cheap, and is perfect for chilly/rainy weather, it has multiple pockets to put your stuffs in. I got it in deal for 89 bucks. If you’re thinking of buying it, just go for it.
