It was difficult to re-glue. This product worked perfectly! Very solid, and the adhesive is very strong, which is what I needed. Review: Works well flat, but stubborn on the corners. - I had originally planned to use this to dress the lead edge on an old desk that has seen better days (like me), but it really wound up being too narrow in person (my assumptions vs measurements, the product is as advertised) and just didn't want to stay stuck when folded over the top/front corner of that leading edge. I quickly decided to just lay it flat on the top edge, which is where I needed the help the most. Worked great for that. I'm a a few weeks into having it in place, and it's stayed put (cleaned the surfaces with alcohol before installing it) satisfactorily. Only other thing to note for possibly some other geeks like me, I have a pair of VKB joysticks I often have clamped to the leading edge of the desk. They do clamp over this readily enough, but they can mash/deform the shape a little.
