I did quite well in the course, but I didn't find this book to be any help whatsoever. Heck, wikipedia had better resources in most cases. Unfortunately I can't be certain whether or not this is more a result of the text book as a medium slowly falling into obsolescence. Perhaps if there were no other resources available, I would have been forced to resort to actually depending on this book. But in the modern world, there's no reason anyone should buy this.
