### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wasn’t sold on it, SO glad I did buy it....
*by on Reviewed in the United States November 9, 2018*

First I want all to know seller the seller is LAZY DAY BOOKS. The shipping time was much faster than indicated. Their packaging was supurb. I don’t think anything in transpiration would have damaged it pretty much. Sorry for say that, was give credit for Dre’s it due.My hubby bought this Bible several weeks ago. I wasn’t sold on it at all but when I started reading it my hubby’s, it was great seeing 4 versions of a each verse, etc. I have a NIV and didn’t want to change. Glad I did.His was labeled VERY GOOD CONDITION. What he rec’d was basically very good. After using his Bible and with the ability of reading it in 4 version helped me beyond what I thought it was so I bought one. It was listed as LIKE NEW and $2 cheaper than my hubby. Saw good reviews here so I bought one listed in LIKE NEW CONDITION but turns out it’s brand new. Binding not even broken and pages unturned.I am thrilled to get this Bible. It really helps me to see verses, etc in another light. I higher recommend for devotional, bible times with your kids, leaving out for more conversations, etc. I can’t think of any reason not to by it unless you don’t read the Bible much at home. On the downside, or however you want to express this, it’s not a Bible I would regularly take to church although I’d like to. It’s very heavy. We each take our long time Bibles to church, etc and sometimes go back to read what was told at the service or class.Highly recommend.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Value in the Leather-Bound Edition
*by on Reviewed in the United States April 14, 2009*

For 55 years, I only read the Bible in the King James Version although I sometimes went to services where the pastor cited other translations. It was quite a revelation to me when I first read The New King James: Suddenly, many things became clear for the first time. With that encouragement (and being a daily Bible reader), I decided it was time to expand my translation horizons. After going through The Learning Bible in the Contemporary English Version, I felt that I was ready for a stiffer challenge. When I saw that this Bible included the familiar (to me) King James, the scholarly Amplified, the accessible but expensive New International Version, and the literal but sometimes confusing New American Standard, I was sold. I also like to own leather-bound Bibles and the additional cost over a hard-bound copy from Amazon's More Buying Choices was small.I decided that I would read two chapters a day, one in the morning and one in the evening, until I finished the Bible. At first, I started with the King James Version. That wasn't such a great choice. After awhile, I shifted to the Amplified first. That gave me the broadest perspective on the chapter. Next, I would typically move to the New American Standard which wasn't as hard to understand after seeing the Amplified. Third, I would go to the NIV which improved my understanding the most. Then, I would end with the King James and come away with a broader perspective than ever before on the material. In retrospect, I would have gotten more benefit if I had also read a commentary along with the translations. Then, this would have been more like a Bible study experience. I've remedied that by now starting the New Living Translation backed up by Willmington's Guide to the Bible.Naturally, if you can read Hebrew, these aren't the best resources for you. But I don't, so I found these side-by-side translations provided me with many insights and a sense of being much closer to the Lord. It was a blessing to me to invest the time with this Bible. I intend to return to it along with a different commentary sometime next year.May God bless you, your family, your Bible reading, and all you do in the name of Jesus!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect!
*by on Reviewed in the United States July 19, 2011*

I absolutely love having this Bible. I have all sorts of versions at home and when I am doing my study, I usually have 5 different Bibles sitting around me. But this makes my study easier as I can have 4 versions in one book, instead of having 4 different Bibles sitting around. Wish I had discovered this earlier before I purshased all those different versions. Like someone posted before, it isn't exactly a "study" Bible that has commentaries and notes on the pages, but it is good for your own study when you want to compare different versions. And it is not terribly huge where you can't carry it around. It is a normal size and is easy to carry around. The font is a bit small but I am guessing that is because they have to fit 4 versions in the book, without making it a big Bible that your Grandma use to have sitting on the coffee table! All in all, I love it and when this gets old from use, will purchase the exact same one and may even give them out as gifts this Christmas!
