Well, Once you get the hang of the interface… Game changing. Constant lap counter - that works. Pace split every turn. And the workouts turn everything into Zwift for the pool. Intervals are a breeze with the rest counter. You can pick targeted training. The things pick up on poor technique and give you additional widgets on the display to correct it. Apparently I have been swimming with a slow turning head when breathing freestyle. So it gave me a gauge and and a target zone to speed it up. Syncs to Apple fitness if you want but without the stroke info… I’ve stopped using the watch in the pool. It’s redundant. Totally. If these things have the longevity that the construction and the gorilla glass suggest then they will pay for themselves with all the goggles I won’t need to buy.
