Review: This thing is excellent - I was very surprised at how great this was. The machining on it is fantastic at this price. The fine adjustment screw moves very smoothly and the threads are well made and tight. The finish on the parts is excellent. Good solid anodizing colors. The blades are super sharp. Ignore the reviews that say it doesn't have a way to fix the blade. It comes with two blades, one with a ball bearing in it that allows it to roll. Another comes with just a screw the will fix it so it is stationary and doesn't roll. The scale on it isn't great but just use a ruler to set it and you will be fine. The markings on the tool are small (for my eyes) and hard to read. And the inch scale is not in typical fractions which makes if VERY hard to use in any case. Aside from that small issue, I love this thing. I bought that for next to nothing from Wish Dot Com, and was not expecting much, but it turned out to be incredibly good quality. However it did not have the screw adjustment for fine control, and is just a bit unwieldy, so I ordered this version. It works very well, and I love the fine adjustment. It is also turning out to be my default marking gauge for 95% of situations.
