They will work for no more than 20 full charges. Each charge last me like 6 hours playing. After those 20 the charge last less hours. So no more than 6 months on regular usage. **Q: How many hours of battery life are you guys getting?** A: I just use mine while cutting grass. I’m getting about 5 hours all together. **Q: I just received the adapter, but I can't figure out how to turn off the "beep" that happens every 10 seconds or so. I use this consistently during the work week for 6 hours at a time and requiring a charge everyone day or two. The only feedback I have is that the battery starts to fade after about 6 months of this kind of use. After that it will not hold a charge for long and will need to be recharged multiple times a day.
