I have not tried to wash them. **Q: how much do they weigh?** A: Mine are women's size 10 and with my prescription orthotics, they way just over 2 pounds. **Q: Are these true to size?** A: I have quite a few pair of Merrell shoes and their hiking/trail shoes run true to size but their "knit " shoes, or everyday shoes run 1/2 size too small and they're extremely narrow...and I have narrow feet! These are a true fit. **Q: Are these shoes waterproof?** A: No, they are not waterproof.
