Something with gold+ or Platinum rails should do. 7) Use an add-in USB PCI-E card rather than built in USB on the motherboard. 8) Nuclear option would be a power conditioner where all studio related electronics (computer, interface, amp etc.) are plugged into. You can also mess around with shielded computer cases I guess. Never heard of anyone doing that though. And stop using wifi if possible. Also turn off your phone or keep it nowhere near your setup. What you are hearing when you hear buzz/hum is radio interference from 50hz/60hz power such as the power supplies, as well as radiometric interference form things like cell phones and even radio stations. But most of it is from local mains power. If your power is exceptionally noisy and the interface is very unshielded then there is not a hwole lot you can do other than get a better interface and a power conditioner. **Q: can i use the two inputs at the same time? i had the cheaper level model of this and it wouldn't let me** A: Yes you can. While you don't state what cheaper model you are referring to, some only have a single input channel. This unit has 2 input channels and 4 output channels.
