The jury is still out, but I like both sets. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ D'Addario 80/20 Bronze *by I***8 on 1 September 2014* Good strings with reasonable longevity. Pub player + guitar goes more or less everywhere. I make sure that I wipe them down at the end of a session. Minus 1 star because they do seem to lose that new string brilliance more quickly than say Rotosounds of an equivalent gauge; some people I know do like that, so it's really just my personal preference. However, these do seem to suit the guitar they are on - mid range solid top Yamaha - and people comment on the sound. So a nice combination all in all. What swings it for me is that I do like the fact that D'Addario publish the string tensions and these have slightly less tension than say an EJ16 - slightly easier on the fingers. Overall string choice is personal preference.
