I checked around for dry cleaners and they all said they wouldn’t guarantee results and the quotes were as much or more than I paid for the coat. I was so upset I bundled it up, put it out of my mind, and forgot about it for a few months. I came across Amodex and figured what the heck - I can’t wear the coat as is, so if I have to throw it out in the end , oh well I tried. I followed the directions, using a toothbrush to scrub the stain, then let it sit for about 30 minutes then threw it in the delicate cycle of the washing machine with gentle detergent. It came out with no trace of the ink at all! GONE!
