It can even power an old wringer washer full of water. It can also power my 10 amp electric chainsaw, though the inverter's protection shuts it off if I force the saw too much. This implies that the chainsaw can draw far more than 10 amps or even 12 if stressed. Something to remember about power tool ratings. The first one I bought 5 years ago in San Pedro Sula Honduras and used it almost daily because the electric is horrible in Honduras so it ran my computer back up system. Here the electric goes up and down so much in incredible low and even more incredible spikes, that it is no uncommon to lose a lot of electrical appliances here every year. This new one is performing well and I have no complaints. It seems to be high quality.
