A: It should do, there is no reason to suggest it won’t

**Q: I can't get this filter to stay in place in my ec685 machine? it keeps popping to the surface? what am i doing wrong…**
A: Are you soaking it first? I can't remember the exact instruction off the top of my head but I recall that before placing it in situ I was directed to pour water into it until it overran. You may be fighting an air pocket until you do that.

**Q: Is this suitable for ecam 29x.6y? not listen**
A: If it’s not listed then I would email delonghi customer services directly and they will answer

**Q: Can I reduce the water hardness setting on my machine when using this filter?**
A: I would imagine so as it is described as a "water softener filter".
