However, it is very cheaply made and the buckles fall off regularly. In fact, mine came without one of the buckles.. which I’m assuming fell off during the packing process. Though I often just use watercolor blocks for those sketches, I wanted to be able to use as large as a half sheet of watercolor paper (15x22) for my painting. This backpack allows me to carry everything except a chair! It carries the paper on a watercolor paper stretcher board, palette, brushes, sketchbook, pens, pencils, erasers, and even the easel! It is well constructed. The zipper appears to be a fairly heavy and sturdy one. I would expect to find it on a pair of jeans, not in a moderately inexpensive art backpack.
