For a standard (bunny) D-cell, at half amp current, its rated at 10,000 mAh. Amazon needs to show the product data sheet for these batteries. **Q: where are they made** A: Amazon Basics alkaline D batteries are made in China. **Q: why are there 9v reviews for a d battery product? how is that helpful?** A: Because you have a choice up top to choose between three different battery types. I'm assuming they bought the 9 volt version. **Q: I'm just thinking out loud. i wonder why the d cells only have a 3 year shelf life but the aa and aaa have a 10 year shelf life? any thoughts?** A: I am wondering the same thing. Amazon lists their AS batteries as having a 10 year shelf life, while these batteries were listed at first a 3 year and now a 5 year shelf life.
