Thus far, I've not needed to test that range. I've only needed it fo 1-1.2 Price-Pfister nuts, for which the wrench worked spectacularly. **Q: Will this work on large plastic wing nuts that tighten under the sink to hold the faucet down?** A: Yes this is exactly the tool you need. However you need to determine the size of the nut.
