I am very happy with this purchase! The Batryuic upgraded 6500mAh V6 replacement battery worked perfectly with my Dyson. Installation was quick and easy, and it fit just like the original battery. Installation was a breeze, and it’s been working seamlessly so far. I’m not entirely sure about its long-term durability yet, but I’ll be sure to provide an update if it shows any signs of failing. Cons: - Uncharted longevity: I haven’t had it long enough to gauge how it will hold up over time, but I’ll report back if it starts to fail.

Update: On the product page, the seller lists the reasons to purchase their battery over others. One reason is "‌1-Year Exchange – Free replacement if the battery fails within a year." So I contacted the seller about my battery no longer working after a few uses. And they did indeed send me a replacement. The replacement battery was dead out of the box. I contacted the seller again to inform them of this. I waited a month and received no response. So I contacted them again. Another 10 days have passed and they still have not responded. This experience shows that their product is bad. 2 out of 2 batteries were defective. My Dyson is probably at least 15 years old. So these replacements generally last onlt 2-3 years - far shorter life span than the original. Still they are typically a good enough deal. This replacement lasted through 2 uses. My Dyson is basically my 2nd vacuum and only used for small jobs such as cleaning up stray litter tracked by my cats onto the hardwoods in one room. Total run time on this battery less than 10 minutes. The Dyson hangs on the wall mount charger when not in use. The battery suddenly stopped working during end vacuuming. The blue light on the side flashes and that's it. I put it back on the charger thinking maybe it hadn't plugged in correctly and had discharged. I tried several times and it has not worked since. This battery is a piece of crap and a waste of money. There are plenty of other sellers on Amazon selling the same type of battery for your Dyson. You'll be better off looking at them.

Very easy to install with a small Phillips screwdriver. Works great and gives my Dyson more years. I was afraid the vac had come to the end of its life cycle but all it needed was this new battery. This is a good value. If you are worried about installing there are some easy to follow YouTube videos that show you step by step.

It is doing its job. A previous battery died very soon, and I look forward to seeing if this one will do better. Replacement was quick and easy, once I found a YouTube description of how to access the battery.

Solid choice for and an alternative battery that works with the Dyson V6. I’ve owned the V6 model for nearly 10 years and have been through several batteries. They all fail in time and I’m including the original Dyson batteries ( I’ve had 2). There is zero reason to continue to purchase Dyson branded batteries when excellent aftermarket brands exist.

Fit perfectly in my V6 animal and was mostly charged up out of the box. It only took a few minutes on the cradle to top off. Matches the original battery pack in Color, size, and shape visually. As in other reviews, proper care with insertion into the cradle is essential to get the charging plug to go in all the way in. It’s a bit tight in the tolerances. If you don’t use the wall cradle it’s a non issue. Battery was easy to replace with only 2 screws to remove. The strength of the suction is slightly increased from the original battery, and I can sense a tiny increase in the sound volume and rotation speed in the chamber to match but it is in no way irritating or unpleasant. It’s like I have a new vac!

It’s been several months and it still works great! Holds its charge.
