I was able to remedy this by using the USB slots on the front of my computer that were flipped differently than on the back of my computer, there it was the opposite, the only two angles were the antenna facing upwards or out. Second, the item itself doesn't feel like it would hold the test of time if handled frequently (psychically handled that is). Fantastic Tech Support. - I ordered this Panda USB Wireless Adapter/Antenna to overcome a WiFi signal strength problem between my router and a Raspberry Pi 4 computer that I am using in a location that is about 50 feet from my router, and has several walls and a large circuit breaker panel between the router and RPI4. Not being a computer guy, I was hoping that I could just plug this into a USB port on the RPI4 and it would start working. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. I plugged it in and saw no improvement. My laptop still could not see the RPI4. So why the 5-star rating? There's a number to call Panda right on the box that this device comes in. I called the number, got connected to voice mail, and left a brief description of what I needed. To my surprise, I got a text message from Panda Tech Support a few minutes later. Over a period of about 2 hours, their tech walked me through figuring out what was wrong with my WiFi configuration and got me up and running. I won't go into all the details, but briefly, I had to disable the RPI4's onboard WiFi device, switch to a 2.4 MHz WiFi connection, and update some settings in my router. There was nothing at all wrong with the Panda USB Wireless Adapter/Antenna. This Panda USB Wireless Adapter/Antenna is getting the job done now. I have excellent signal strength and through-put, and my system is up and running properly now. I can't say enough about the great tech support that I got from Panda. Maybe if I was more computer literate I would have figured out how to make it work on my own, but I'm really impressed with the help I received. In fact, I think I got a great device plus about $200 worth of computer tech support all for the very reasonable purchase price of $25.99. When the need arises, I'll definitely do business with Panda Wireless again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works with a Raspberry Pi, but some configuration is needed. *by S***N on January 12, 2015* This adapter is marketed it as compatible with a Raspberry Pi. And it does "work" out of the box. The Debian distribution for the Raspberry Pi comes with the necessary drivers to make the device work, although I had to write a script to make the device work at boot. That isn't too bad, if you want to play in the linux playground, you will have to get dirty. The only thing preventing this device from getting 5 stars, is that this adapter keeps setting itself to a slower mode, so I do not get the 150Mbps link (note that I did not say transfer) speed. I believe that this is a driver issue, and could probably be fixed by recompiling the driver from the included source code, but that is not out of box... TL;DR.
