Installed these as a complete beginner so I would say easy enough to install. Great value as i didn't need to buy a new controller. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ works perfectly on dualshock 4 *by G***. on 3 January 2025* these work really well, follow the ifixit guide with the calibration software link. worked perfectly for me. these sticks feel really nice and smooth, the included thumbsticks are good quality and the extra rubber thumbstick caps feel nice too. Desoldering the old stick is a little tricky without the proper tools as the board wicks away a lot of heat so you're going to want to get the stick area evenly heated. A hot air station would be ideal so you can take the whole stick out at once or you can use low melt solder but if you only have a soldering iron and normal leaded solder like me (don't use lead free as high melting point) then heating each of the joints around the stick a few times should get it sufficiently hot to be workable.
