Review: Sd outdoor light - simple, modern, and does the job - Bought this for our back garden and I’m really pleased with it. The design is clean and modern without being too flashy, and it fits in nicely with the rest of the house. It feels sturdy and well-made - definitely not cheap plastic. Installation was straightforward (I’m no electrician, but managed with a bit of patience), and it’s been holding up great against the wind and rain. The IP65 rating seems to live up to its promise—no leaks or issues so far. I popped in a warm white E27 bulb and it gives off a lovely glow in the evening, just enough for the patio area without being blinding. All in all, a solid buy if you want a no-fuss, reliable outdoor light that looks good and handles the weather. Thinking of getting another for the front now.

This outdoor wall light is well-packaged and comes with all necessary fittings, though it requires hard wiring and doesn’t include a bulb. Made of sturdy black aluminium and was placed outside our door entering into the garden. The installation was relative straight-forward as this was replacing an existing fixture, though a professional may be needed for new installations. It’s weather-resistant (IP65) and takes E27 bulbs, offering flexibility in lighting choices. While the clear plastic shade mimics glass well, I think a real glass option would have been preferable for longevity. Overall, a stylish and durable outdoor lighting solution and looks good in the location where this has been placed. We have a indoor switch to turn the light on and off when required.
