Very loud. It hurt my ears when I tested it. Needs some kind of strap tho. - Small and light enough to carry and loud af. We were camping in bear country and luckily didn’t have to use it but was nice to have. They need some type of holder though so you don’t have to put it in your pocket. It needs to be outside of your clothing and easy to reach. I may look into making or buying some kind of strap or something. The sound quality is good though. Very nice to have for safety.
