The best teriyaki ever!
I love this sauce. I have bought it here in Portland OR since Junkie Yoshida started demonstrating it at the Lake Grove Safeway #1047 I worked at in the mid 80's. Couldn't find it for a couple years because Heinz bought his recipe for 24 million. Junkie is a pillar of our community and a character. Funny guy and he donates lots of money and lots of time to non profits. It's the best teriyaki sauce ever! I marinate with it and cook with it. Try it! BTW the reason it's back is because Junkie bought back the recipe from Heinz for way less than one million it is rumored.

Special sauce (Yoshida)
Sweet, Savory, and Addictive! This sauce is a total game-changer in my kitchen. Mr. Yoshida’s Original Gourmet Sauce has that perfect balance of sweet and savory with just a hint of garlic and soy. It works on everything—chicken, beef, stir-fries, veggies, even as a marinade.I first picked it up on a whim, and now I can’t imagine not having a bottle in the pantry. It’s super versatile, and it makes quick weeknight meals taste like something from a restaurant.Pros:Delicious flavor that works with lots of dishesGreat as a marinade or dipping sauceComes in a generous-sized bottle (so it lasts a while)Cons:It’s on the sweeter side—just something to know if you prefer more savory saucesNot always easy to find in stores (thankfully, Amazon has it!)Bottom line:If you like teriyaki-style sauces or sweet-savory glazes, this one is a must-try. I always keep a backup bottle just in case I run out!

Most versatile sauce that can be used on everything.
***BEST SAUCE EVER!!***We have been using this sauce for years. Went for a while without it and was finally able to find it again. Used to get it at Costco, but then they stopped carrying it. The sauce is rich and thick and sweet, but not too sweet. We use it a lot on chicken thighs and then bake in the sauce so it really gets into the chicken thighs and it is so delicious. I’m so happy I can find it on Amazon now because we moved to Texas from California and HEB does not carry this brand. You can find it sometimes at a Kroger here but not very often. This is great on stir fry, flank steaks, ribs both beef and pork, veggies, and pretty much anything. Makes the best teriyaki turkey burgers. We use ground turkey breast and add this sauce to the meat with other seasoning. Comes out juicy and delicious every time. As Guy Fieri would say, this would taste good on a flip-flop lolIt’s also great we can buy it on Amazon in the large bottles.

I put it on EVERYTHING!
Insanely good stuff. I'm SO glad it's back! The taste is just the same as it was 20 years ago.Great for marinating or just a straight sauce. My favorite is putting it in some meatballs for parties! The 2 bottles will last you a long time even if you put it on everything like I do. Great value for what you spend. Thanks Mr. YOSHIDA! <3

Glad to see Yoshida's Original gourmet sauce back on the shelves.
The marinade itself is an excellent product. Last year, I was told by Kraft that it was discontinued. I'm happy it is back, although at a significantly higher cost. I wonder why they did that?? Packaging was not very good. There were 2 boxes with 2 large bottles of product packed in a larger outer box. It was not protected with any packing material. The outer box looked like it was dropped from a roof. Fortunately, the product was not damaged. The bottles were all "dirty/dusty" and had to be wiped down before I put them away. Where were they stored??

Excellent! The BEST!
This sauce was missing from stores and Amazon for a while… so glad it’s back! This is so good that I ordered some off Amazon and sent some to a friend! My stepmom used to make chicken thighs marinated in this when I was a kid. It’s the absolute BEST. Get some stir fry vegetables, brown rice (or whatever you prefer), and chicken thighs. Marinate chicken thighs in a large ziplock bag for 3-5 hours. Fry up on the stove in a pan or cook them on the grill. Excellent! Cook your vegetables and rice separately and plate, then plate your chicken. Cook up any excess marinade on the stove and pour over your food. I also enjoy making chicken thigh kebabs w/ pineapple, onions and bell peppers.

Excellent product /Value for your money
This is the 2nd order of Yoshida's cooking sauce through Amazon, and I must say I will continue to purchase it this way. Not only is it the best cooking sauce but I love the two 48oz bottles, complete value for my money. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because1 of the bottles was damaged, no leaking but just in case, I'm transferring the contents of the damaged bottle into my already used bottle from my last order. All in All, EXCELLENT product. BTW my last order, both bottles were delivered un-damaged.

So glad it’s ba
Mr Yoshidas is the best sauce! I enjoyed it many (many) years ago, and am so happy it is available again.I use it any time I want an Asian flare. Noodles, vegetables, stir fry, pork, salmon, chicken. Soooo good with chicken! The consistency is perfect: not too thick, not too thin. It is a little sweeter than other similar sauces, which I like. And the ginger flavor is more subtle. It’s there, but not overpowering.
