Reviews on this product were varied but I am so glad I decided to buy it. Delivery was quick and although not very well packaged came undamaged. I am 88 and had no difficulty in assembly, an allen key is all that is required and is provided by the company. Instructions are pictorial and easy to follow, it all fitted together perfectly. The height of the seat is adjustable by means of a lever which controls the hydraulic action. Suitable for a midget or giant. In use it is a joy, the chrome base gives superb stability, the seat and back rest is so comfortable and the foot rest is the icing on the sugar. My kitchen is quite small so I can more or less sit in the middle and spin around between all the equipment and fittings without getting up. I have no horror of using the kitchen anymore and my wife, who I care for, laughs at me spinning around working.This is a fantastic piece of equipment, well made, smart ( I have the cream seat and chrome machine) and spins around like silk. Surprisingly it is very light to move. Very easy to put together and looks very classy. My order was send pretty much loose in pieces, inside a cardboard box. Although I don't think it's very likely to get damaged, it meant that where the base was resting against the seat, an indent was made into the leather. After a few days use this has come out, but still annoying. Apart from that, very happy.
