Review: Perfect solution! Very Happy! - We had a new deck built and did not want to drill through it to attach the pool stairs, mainly because we weren’t 100% sure about placement/location of the stairs. Bought these as a temporary fix, but these will be our permanent fix! The stairs did not move!! My husband bought sand bags and put the sealed sand bags in the ladder weight bags. PERFECT! Even with kids in and out of the pool AND little kids clinging to the stairs, they stayed in place. For reference, our pool is an above ground oval.
Review: A must buy - Heavy duty bags, we put 50# still in bags sand drop into our pool to hold down our new ladder they work wonderful.. If your thinking of getting it I recommend ...

## Features

- Easy and Fast Sand Filling: You will receive 2 pcs pool ladder-weight anchors. Featuring a large opening, our pool stairs counterweight anchor allows for quick and effortless sand filling, saving you time and energy. 1 pcs sandbag can hold up to 50 lbs of sand, enhancing the stability of the ladder and preventing any floating or wobbling. Tip: If used to store counterweights other than sand, such as gravel, it may not hold 50 lbs.
- Good Sealing Performance: The pool steps weight bag is made of high-quality waterproof PVC material, which has good waterproof performance. Secure buckles at the opening for a tighter seal, which can prevent sand or water from leaking and keep your pool clean.
- Easy to Use and Store: When using our swimming pool staircase weight bag, pinch the opening, fold it down 3 to 5 times, and lock the buckles in the center and both ends (instructions are printed on the product). When not used, empty the sand, rinse with water, air dry, fold, and store to save space.
- Heavy Duty Thickened Material: Our pool ladder step weight is made of high quality heavy duty 500D PVC material, which is waterproof, durable, lightweight and easy to carry, stain and scratch resistant, and not easy to break. And the reinforced nylon handle on the product will not easily break. Compared with other plastic and ordinary PVC weight bags, this thickened 500D PVC sand bag can serve your swimming pool for a long time.
- Versatile Use: Ourstable sandbag for swimming pool steps serves multiple purposes, functioning not only as a pool ladder weight but also as a canopy leg weight. It's also ideal as a waterproof dry bag for travel, outdoor camping, and fishing activities, catering to your diverse needs.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Make pool steps seem like they are built in. Easy and not unattractive
*by V***Y on June 20, 2026*

Easy to fill, close, and hang on pool steps. I used one bag of Home Depo pea gravel split in half. Recommend using both, but you could experiment with just one side depending your step buoyancy. These are thick material and seem well made. I used washed (I washed first) pea gravel and they solidly hold down the steps and were easy to strap onto the railing upright. It feels like my steps are screwed in or otherwise permanent. While they are visible, they don't detract from the pool and were not in the way in any sense. I didn't want something I had to use a funnel for, so while I would have preferred the square units these are just fine. The only concern with any of these is whether mold could grow and won't know until the end of the season, but honestly, they seal pretty tight so if they do, it's not likely to get back into the pool, so no worries.
