Since then, I have used is almost every day. In the summer, cold tea or flavored water and in the winter, hot tea. I have dropped it a number of times (or it fell out of my backpack pocket). It has a few dents on the bottom, and a little paint is peeling but not bad. I have broken the top 3 times due to falls. The early lid design with a spring release spout fractured just when it fell over on the counter. But the newer lid with screw top spout and the availability of replacement lids has not required me to replace the whole unit like I had to do 4-5 years ago. Highly recommended. Only negative, is that I have some tea drips down the side that I cannot seem to get off, but I have not been aggressive, either. Maybe, I should try some Bar Tenders' Friend and see if I can get that off. This is my 3rd one. With the first 2, once the lid failed, I had to purchase new but the aluminum container portion seemed bullet proof and fully intact. With the last one, I can buy the replacement lids which had been the primary victim after a fall.
