Review: Very good design - After 30 years my old dish rack finally bit the dust. Actually the utensil tray on it broke and I was unable to find another one that would fit the perimeters of the dish rack. I literally had a large yogurt container tied into the rack while I did some extensive research into my next model. This rack is smaller than my previous one but I really like it. The water tray snaps onto the bottom of the surface that the dishes sit on. It fits in all directions so you can decide whether you want a rack that is wide on the edge near the sink or narrow and extending away from the sink. I like the versatility of being able to choose which side the dish slots are on as well. It sits on 4 feet that are approximately 1” long. I read some reviews that said the untensil cup drains onto the counter……it is intended to be placed within the drying wrack and not to be attached to the outside. Common sense! I’m quite pleased with my new dish wrack and highly recommend this particular model.

**Q: Are the non-metal parts (the gray plate & silverware holders) dishwasher safe, in case they get moldy/dirty?  What material are they made of?**
A: Looks just like plastic.  I use vinegar in a spray bottle and clean off the white scale/lime

**Q: Is the water spout a separate attachment to the mat or does the mat have a cut out with the spout design?**
A: The water spout is separate from the base water catch. It snaps on or off four lugs. You can also rotate the water spout ninety degrees in either direction using the four lugs. You can also remove the water spout for cleaning.

**Q: What color is this rack?**
A: metal and gray

**Q: Does the aluminum easily scratch?**
A: I only have had it a little over 30 days.  It has not been scratched to date.  Dish rack appears fairly robust for aluminum.  Hope this helps

After 30 years my old dish rack finally bit the dust. Actually the utensil tray on it broke and I was unable to find another one that would fit the perimeters of the dish rack. Very nice. I’ve used many racks and always have issues with the hard water stains showing on the rack ,with this one no issues. Easy to clean .A little pricey but worth it.
