With the recent heat waves that are overtaking us this summer, I am trying to find ways to keep my energy bill as low as possible. With an open layout home, this can prove difficult especially when you have many large windows. Enter in this fan. First, I want to say that generally I like Dreo products. I have three space heaters designed by them which I love, so I was excited to get this fan because I believe Dreo is good quality. Not only do their products look chic with pleasing metallic accents, but they also perform wonderfully. So far, this fan has been no exception. The power on this thing is amazing. I thought it only had eight settings, however, I was delightfully surprised to see that actually has about 10, including a turbo setting. With my blinds drawn and my AC kept low along with a ceiling fan [the ceiling fan is beautiful but honestly sadly it is more for decoration and air circulation than cooling, hence getting this Dreo], I will never need turbo. I mean, unless I plan to perform a rendition of the Cowboy Carter/Renaissance tour concert in my living room, but she really aint no diiiiva. I checked my thermostat and when it was 96 degrees outside, in my home, with this fan, the thermostat was set to 81 and after turning on the fan at level 4, ten minutes later my inside temperature dropped to 78. Now, I am anemic so 78 is quite comfortable to me, but I imagine for my more hot bodied brethren out there, this will do you just as well. A couple things to note: for being as powerful as it is, the fan is pretty quiet. It's not silent, but at around 6 or 7 is when the wind picks up but still, tolerable levels. There is no rattling, however, so if you are using this in your bedroom it might make for good white noise if that's your thing. This model does not have Wifi, but it does come with a remote. Fair warning, if you are like me with multiple Dreo products, the other remotes work on this too so there may be some confusion there. Overall, I would definitely recommend this and may be considering getting another for my top level floor which is hot as hell year round given how much sun it gets.

I live in an older home. My bedroom is the weakest spot for a/c, since it’s the farthest from the blower, so that room is never quite as cool as the rest of the house. Ceiling fan helps, but I find that a fan near the door to pull air in from the hall can make a big difference. I’ve used the expensive “tornado” (brand name w a V) fans in the past, and they’re fine, but they’re LOUD at even the lowest setting. It’s like being on an airport runway! This fan? This is magical! The height of the fan is great because it allows the breeze to blow at about bed height. I keep it on fan speed 3, which is almost completely silent. Even the higher speeds are very quiet. It easily draws air in from outside the room, bringing the temp down in the bedroom. The fan head tilts, so I can choose where to direct the fan. Oscillation is optional. There’s a timer feature, plus various fan speeds. The LED light does not stay on (no need for electrical tape to cover it up at night), but reappears when I tap the controls. Remote control easily stores on a clip on the fan, so it won’t get lost. Personally, I leave the fan oscillating at speed 3 all the time, day and night. I’ve not needed the timer or the remote, but I’m glad to have both. Assembly was very easy - just a minute or two at most.

I'll start with that I had some old fans by Lasko I used in my bedroom and living room controled using wifi switches and Alexa, very simple Alexa fan on / off with pre set speed by manual switch on fan. Worked great but 20 year old fans were getting noisy and tired so I decided to replace. Of course I thought I will just get 2 new Lasko fans, well 50 bucks each and the quality was terrible, total junk. When I went to return they did not even want the product back, got refund and note to use or give away. So started reading reviews and decided for a little more money to try out the Dreo fans. Yes they are all that. So quiet the first morning I work up, I could not hear the fan running and I was thinking where is that breeze coming from? DC motor is the way to go for sure. Assembly was no brainer, did not even need instruction. Wifi and Alexa integration was easy with the Dreo app. If you have issues with Alexa coomands controlling the fan just look up suggested commands, its all about the way you tell Alexa to adjust the fan speed and other fuctions. Quailty of product is outstanding, stylish and looks great in any room, very modern look but not overkill. Performance is way beyond expectation, air movement from a breeze so gentle you'd swear you left a window open to hurricane force winds. Even if your not into the home automation thing its an outstanding fan. Its a little more than the cheap junk out there but so worth the money. If you are into home automation you will not be disappointed. One side note: When you use the Dreo app you will see room temperature and think will that is wrong. It only shows the correct room temperature when the fan is running, so if you want it to stop if it goes below a certain temp, then you will see it works correctly, its not an accurate displaay of the current room temperature. Buy it youll love it!

This is the long-term review of the Dreo fan. I’ve owned several models from Dreo over the last three and a half years and very impressed with reliability. I chose this Dreo pedestal fan because of its compact size—I needed something that could efficiently cover the airflow area in my living room without taking up too much space. The build quality is excellent. The base is heavy and stable, the pedestal connects through a sturdy stainless-steel rod, and the rest of the body is made from high-quality molded plastic. The fan head attaches with a U-shaped arm. This particular model oscillates 120° side-to-side. It also rotate up and down but it is manual. There is a larger version of this fan that also includes up-and-down movement automatically, but this compact model only rotates horizontally. One small drawback: the control panel is placed on the front near the bottom, unlike the larger Dreo versions where the controls are on top. I am not sure why they chose this weird location when the top of the fan body has plantey of space. If you're not using the remote, you sometimes need to bend or kneel down to access the buttons, as button does not lit and hard to see. In terms of performance, this fan is extremely quiet upto speed 6- upto which has respectable amount of airflow. It uses a DC motor, which allows very fine speed adjustments. It offers 9 speed levels, and you can also activate Turbo Mode, which pushes the fan to its maximum speed. Turbo is louder, but it delivers strong airflow when needed. You can also narrow or widen the oscillation angle based on your preference. This is a smart fan. It connects to Wi-Fi and works with the Dreo app. The app provides extensive controls—precise oscillation direction, room temperature display, scheduling, speed adjustments, and the ability to save preference. I use Google Home to voice control the fan which works perfectly and makes day-to-day use very convenient. In summary, I am very impressed with this fan. While the location of the control panel is a minor annoyance, the remote control, smart-home integration, and app support is positive point. If you rely on the remote or voice commands, you won’t even notice this drawback.

I thought I was buying the same fan twice based on Amazon showing me, a previously purchased date when I saw the Prime Day deal. Unfortunately, this is not the case as this fan is not a smart fan. The model I bought prior seems to be discontinued per Dreo's website. With that being said, the smart fan I bought has been great, so much so I wanted to buy a second. It's fairly quiet on the low levels, and when you bump it up to turbo, it kind of sounds like a box fan. It's great for us as it provides white noise at night. I love having the control at my finger tips or using the buttons or remote. The second fan we bought, which is the one pictured as of today, Jul 21, 2025, is good too. It still provides a nice stream of air and has the same levels of sound. The other major difference between the two is the smart fan has the ability to set custom asymmetrical angles for when the fan oscillates. Both fans are easy to set up and take apart for cleaning. Functionality seems good, and my family likes the style of the fans. Durability seems great as of now, and we hope these fans hold together for a long time.

I’m not gonna lie I only purchased the WiFi version so I could remotely control my kid’s fan without going in their room at night. I am pleasantly getting way more than expected. This fan is super quiet, and even at higher speeds its very minimal noise considering the air output. I just got a triple bunk bed for my boys and had 3 fans to accommodate the levels. This fan easily eliminated them all. This fan is as good as an A/C in the way that it accurately monitors the ambient temperature and allows you to customize the fan speeds according to CUSTOMIZABLE temp zones. I didn't know I needed this in my life lol! I ordered another one instantly! Easiest money I've ever parted with. I urge you to take the time to customize- it's only a few minutes and by far the best feature of this fan. I also set a on/off schedule as to preserve the fan, so that gives me peace of mind that the motor wont prematurely wear. The angle adjustment is also highly customizable and spot on. The fan remembers your settings- so don't be alarmed when you power it back on and it oscillates at a wide angle- it does that to calibrate then goes on to the angle you set. Tha fan is extremely well built and sturdy with a heavy base. No knock-overs happening without intention. The materials and finish are gorgeous as well. I cant say one bad thing about this fan and I am so excited about the way this is going to improve sleep with a self adjusting fan. I would buy this fan a hundred times if I had to lol, if its in your budget do yourself a huge favor and splurge on this fan🥰

Muy buen flujo de aire, silencioso, incluye termómetro, la app muy completa, puede ajustar el ángulo horizontal de 20° a 180° escogiendo cualquier sector del semicírculo, temporizadores, etc. Lo que pueden mejorar: La extensión del pedestal no es mucha y la cabeza del ventilador solo se puede girar hacia arriba y no hacia abajo.

Silencioso, aplicación intuitiva, control remoto completo y sencillo. La oscilación horizontal se puede especificar en rangos. La oscilación vertical es manual.

Silencioso, fácil de utilizar, con control, con la app, con la cual las posibilidades se multiplican.

El equipo es muy lindo, es menos alto de lo que esperaba, pero es parte de su encanto. La potencia es excelente y tiene funciones increibles como que aumenta la velocidad de forma automática de acuerdo a la temperatura de la habitación. La app de DREO es muy fácil de usar, se pueden programar acciones y se integra con Google Assistant. Compraría otro sin dudarlo.
