Very well made crankset, and clearly more high-end than the Pure Fix 44T, that I also ordered (see images). The Origin8 Crankset will work best with a 68x103mm bottom bracket on most single speed / track frames to create a nice chainline or about 45mm and small gap between cranks and frame (it looks like even narrower BB will work fine). Personally, I had just installed a new 113mm bracket days before, which is way too wide for the Origin8 crankset but nice with the purefix, so I decided to return the Origin8 with tears in my eyes. Review: Killer Cranks. - Pretty nice cranks for the $$$. Arrived promptly and was well packed. Fit was perfect. Went from a 44mm chainring, so I had to order a new chain. No buggy, as I would have replaced the chain anyway. This crank set replaced a set of beach cruiser cranks. I bent one going up a super step hill. Didn't ever know you could do that. At any rate, dinomite replacement. Much nicer than pictured. Would definitely recommend. Came quickly, and fit perfectly (research and choose wisely!). Have used it for light, casual riding, not heavy footed use. But, is light, quiet, and plenty strong for my use.
