Price was probably so good because Amazon knew they were shipping a very large container of spice that would take 1/2 a year or more for a consumer to use up. However expiration date was for only 1 1/2 months past when I received the product Thanks for nothing Amazon. I'll split it up and share it with multiple friends and family.
