They are Australian based and make great expedition gear for off-roading. I spent a weekend on a group off roading trip in Arizona and we had very HOT days and even rain. This 270 awning was just amazing. It held up to a few rough trails a day and opened and closed very quickly when needed. When the weather is great I never use a tent just a cot and sleeping bag. If there's bugs ill use just a bug net over that same system. This awning becomes my instant tent if the weather rolls in unexpected. I can drag everything underneath and remain dry or out of the heat of the day. its relatively light for what's inside and I can pressure wash it clean once I get home from my trip. Review: My favorite addition, watch the wind though. - My Jeep is LOADED with gadgets and gear, but this is BY FAR my favorite product on my Jeep. I love showing it off and using everywhere. It’s so easy to set up and take down. Please be carful though. This thing is NOT ment for wind without stakes. I set up to camp one day and before the stakes went in i got a slight wind. The sucker whipped over my Jeep , broke the plastic hinges(where it’s supposed to break) and the leg cracked a dent in my hood. 20 bucks to fix the hinges and a nice dent to remind me not to be stupid. Either way, definitely a must to camp or tailgate. The legs will extent to I think 8', so it should clear as long as it's lower than that. I have mine mounted at 6'6" so that's how tall it is. The only issue I have is if there is a steep slope near enough that the legs won't extend far enough, but that's rare. Really covers a lot of space and is easy to install, setup and tear down. I had a problem with two of the poles locking after some use, but Rhino Rack immediately replaced all of the poles with what appear to be poles with upgraded locks.
