Review: Good sturdy Parcel Box - Just the right size. Had a couple of parcels left in it so far and they remained dry during changeable and showery weather. I managed to mount the box in position myself (despite being a pensioner) however it would have been much easier with two of us.
Review: Good quality and well finished - Box is very well made, nicely finished and, I think, adds to the look of the house. I've not had any issues with water getting inside, despite recent heavy rains. Best to have someone on hand to help with fitting as it ideally requires two people. Only issue I have is not with the box but with the delivery drivers and post who still insist on ringing the doorbell to handover packages or leave them next door when the box is located beside the front door. One desertcart driver even left a package on top of the box!!

**Q: Does royal mail support this barcode scanning idea?**

We are currently in contact with Royal Mail regarding this.If a retailer insists on a signed for delivery, then the couriers can sometimes not over rule the request of the retailer(sender); this is especially true for high valued items or of shipments of critical nature, i.e. passports or legal documents. In such an eventuality, the couriers are also constrained.We shall keep you updated once we receive for further news. I hope this will be helpful.

**Q: Is it suitable for having newspapers delivered? I am having a new door fitted without a letterbox so will need the Daily Telegraph to fit into the box**
A: Yes it will take a newspaper, but the smart parcel drop box is not 100% water proof. The one I have is fitted to the wall under a porch and we have not had any issues with it so far. Parcels up to the size of a shoe box posted in it so far.

**Q: Are letters secure in the box? Some have mentioned being able to reach all the way in.**
A: You can see if there is post in there if you open the lid slightly to a certain angle but I think it would be extremely difficult to extract any through what is a very small opening. Parcels certainly could not be extracted in this way.

Good quality, and a good size. I thought it was too big at first, but it’s needed. It does leak a few drops into the main compartment, but I’d rather refuse the parcel with a few drops of rain on it than either have it dumped on my door step, and it dripping, or not delivered at all. The colour is nice, it fits a shoe box in comfortably. It’s very secure as it has a keep opening and a tipping top, so the parcel disappears when it goes inside. It was challenging to install. You may need a handy person if you’ve not got a strong enough drill. Two people to install would be ideal, although my husband managed with the use of two arms and a knee. It is heavy, and so whilst this helps the functionality and security, it does make it difficult to fit. Purely for time saving and ease, this is a must buy!
