I immediately noticed that the texture of this soap is also smoother, providing a rich lather that doesn't feel waxy or dry. Overall I'm delighted with the product and will likely purchase more of these in the future. And another note regarding packaging, this was the first time that I received an online order packaged entirely with sustainable material. For the first time ever, I received a kraft paper bag with fiber padding, and the soap tablets came in a cardboard box with each tablet packaged in what they claim to be compostable packaging. I'm a little skeptical about the multi-layer, moisture-resistant, foil-lined bags, but it's a huge improvement. I cannot wrap my head around single-use plastics and find it absolutely deranged that companies package goods designed to last days to months in plastic that will outlive me by 1000 years. So the sustainable packaging was a breath of fresh air. It would be nice to see US companies start to make moves toward better packaging like this.
